DBC Building Procedures

The church’s facilities are provided and maintained through God’s benevolence and we desire that its facilities be used for the fellowship of the Body of Christ and always to God’s glory. Any person or group must sign the “Church Facility Reservation Request and Agreement” form prior to reservation of church facilities.



APPROVAL PROCESS

All events are scheduled through our Event Coordinator. We are only able to host events on Saturdays from 8 am - 5 pm. Event Coordinator or official designee must approve all users and uses of church facilities. Priority is designated to official church functions and needs.



ROOMS RESERVATION

Groups are restricted to only those areas of the facility that the group has reserved.



HOSPITALITY

Key holder or Staff has to be present at the event. 



SUPERVISION OF YOUTH/KIDS

A minimum of two adults (18 or older) are required to supervise children and youth at all times while on DBC property before, during and after any function.



CARE OF FACILITY

Your group is expected to leave the building in good condition. Please exercise reasonable care to prevent damage and breakage. Your group will be held financially responsible for damage done to church property. Your group is responsible for set-up and clean-up. Failure to leave the facility in a clean and reasonable condition will result in forfeiture of the $75 deposit/custodial deposit.



PARKING

DBC has available parking in the parking lot and in the back lot. 



ACCESSIBILITY

Front entrance is the only available handicap entrance. 



NO SMOKING

DBC Building is smoke free. Smoking is not allowed in any part of building, including corridors and restrooms. Smoking may occur outside, but only in the parking lot. Cigarette butts must be disposed of safely and properly. 



ALCOHOL & WEAPONS

No alcoholic beverages, illegal substances or weapons are allowed in the church

building or on the grounds. 



FURNITURE & EQUIPMENT

Furniture and equipment is not to be moved or adjusted without prior approval. Please request approval from Event coordinator.



DECORATIONS

No items may be affixed to any surfaces without prior approval. Please request approval from Event coordinator.



FOOD & BEVERAGE

Food and beverages should remain only within the fellowship hall or approved areas.



TABLES & CHAIRS

Church equipment, such as tables and chairs, must be returned to original placement, unless arranged otherwise prior to the event. Please let us know beforehand if you will need tables & chairs.



KITCHEN & OFFICE SUPPLIES

Kitchen supplies

DBC Kitchen can be used however we ask that groups provide all food, beverages and disposable products for events held at DBC. 


Office supplies

Office supplies and use of printer/copy machine are not included.



AUDIO & VISUAL NEEDS

Please inform the Event coordinator if you have any Audio or Visual needs for your event. Production team member is required for any event that has AV needs. If you have any AV needs for your event there will be a $25/hour fee. Any use of media equipment (computer, lighting, sound board) requires the hiring of a media team representative. Audio and visual equipment may not be used or moved by anyone outside of the church’s media team.



PERSONAL PROPERTY

DBC works to maintain a safe and secure environment; however, thefts and damage to personal property are still possible. Please pay close attention to personal property and valuables as DBC assumes no responsibility for theft or damage to personal property.
